Our Story
Korye® was founded in 2020 by sisters Kory and Elle Johnson, who shared a passion for fashion and a vision to create the perfect pieces for any wardrobe. As designers, they were frustrated by the lack of versatile, well-made basics that could seamlessly transition from day to night.
The name Korye® comes from a combination of the sisters’ names, representing their joint creativity and collaboration. With years of design experience between them, Kory and Elle got to work launching their ideal basics label.
They began with a small collection of sweaters and dresses manufactured in Los Angeles. The comfortable materials and flattering silhouettes were an instant hit with customers. Positive feedback drove the sisters to expand the Korye® line to include jeans, jumpsuits, tops and more.
While the collection has grown, Kory and Elle remain focused on high-quality fabrics and thoughtful design. They oversee every step of the production process, taking pride in creating pieces made to last. Though Korye® has evolved into a full contemporary womenswear brand, its DNA remains rooted in effortlessly stylish basics.
